The head you're referring to is the pumps maximum head. Maximum Head is NOT how high the pump will push water above itself, it's how high above the surface of its water source it will pump.

If you have a pump with a max head of 10 feet pumping water from a water tank with a water level 20 feet above it and on the outlet is an open vertical pipe, the height the water on the outlet side will reach will be 10 feet higher than the height of the water tank, or 30 feet above the pump.

Hey it looks awesome! Well done, great to see it has been of some use.

Fabulous turn out for the open day today, I was thrilled to see so many people. I didnt realise that driveway was so long, especially with vehicles parked all the way down it and up on the road as well.

Well done to you all, I looks like you have beaten the big hairy monster (finance companies) after all.

Congrats on the achievement.

I went to the "Aquarium des lagons" in new caledonia a while ago and took a heap of pics with the intention of sharing them here I have finally got around to it.. Alot of the pics are pretty crappy but this place was amazing with huge tanks huge fish and corals etc hundreds of tanks..
